I want to create as many Side Hustles as I can to earn money
Next on my list are NewsBreak and Substack
Times have changed. I remember growing up, the safe thing to do is get an education, find a job, secure your retirement, and retire at 65. That advice no longer applies because who can afford to retire at 65? You've probably heard of the saying, JOB, "Just Over Broke." That's what it feels like now. Many people live paycheck to paycheck. I started late with earning money online and creating multiple revenue streams. Up to this, several years ago, tutoring was my only other income aside from my teaching job. But having multiple revenue streams is more important than ever, even though you have a full-time job. Here is where my revenue streams come from.
Revenue Stream
1. Teaching Job - primary job
2. Math tutoring - 2nd job
3. Teachers Pay Teachers
4. Kindle Direct Publishing on Amazon
5. Medium
6. NewsBreak***
7. Substack
***NewsBreak - I'm working on getting monetized.
Every little cent helps; building my writing portfolio to earn money from other side hustles is essential. It didn't happen overnight. For many years, my only jobs were teaching and tutoring. Then, in 2019, I realized I needed to create multiple revenue streams. Marketing, building my writing portfolio, and generating income are never-ending.
Final Thought
I've built several streams during the past two-plus years. I'm working to have NewsBreak and Substack create revenue; also, I'm planning to set up an account with Upwork to do freelance writing. My plate is full now; I work long hours, but the long-term potential looks promising. I wouldn't have it any other way. I have to keep working on my side hustles every day. If I continue the course and keep working, I'll see increased revenue from my side hustles.
